We suggest taking the D-Mannose and Vaginal Probiotics at different times of the day.

 For instance:

- mixing 1 D-Mannose sachet into your favourite drink every morning (take up to 3 for a maximum of 3 days when required - see back of pack for more details)

- taking 1 daily Vaginal Probiotics capsule in the evening with food and a glass of water

D-Mannose sachets can be taken as part of your daily urinary wellness routine, or in higher quantities (up to 3 daily) when required.

We recommend this higher-dose routine for a maximum of 3 days to help you get back to feeling your best.

If you feel generally unwell, experience a fever or back pain, or if your discomfort persists beyond 48 hours, please check in with your GP. It's important to rule out a more serious infection that may require medical treatment.

Utee is a natural, non-antibiotic supplement and is not a replacement for medical treatment.

D-Mannose is a type of sugar, but it behaves differently to glucose and so doesn’t tend to cause a spike in blood sugar.

That said, everyone’s diabetes is different, so we always recommend checking with a GP, pharmacist or diabetes nurse before taking Utee D-Mannose.

To be extra safe, if a healthcare professional is happy for you to take D-Mannose, you may wish to monitor your blood sugar initially to ensure it isn’t impacting blood sugar levels.

If you're on medication, we'd always recommend speaking with your doctor or other healthcare professional before taking Utee.

Those with kidney disease should avoid prolonged high-dose use of D-Mannose unless advised by a clinician.

It’s generally safe to take Utee alongside other probiotics or supplements, but we would suggest speaking to a healthcare professional first to make sure there aren’t any reasons why you cannot take both simultaneously.

The probiotic strains in Utee Probiotics (Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Lactobacillus reuteri) are not female-specific. They naturally occur in the gut microbiome of both men and women and can help support overall microbial balance within the body.

While much of the research around these strains has focused on women, the strains themselves are suitable for adults of all genders. 

D-mannose itself is generally well-tolerated in children, but our sachets are formulated at a high-strength dose and include sodium bicarbonate, so we'd always recommend checking with your GP or pharmacist first. 

Our probiotic capsules are designed for adults, and we wouldn't advise them for children unless a healthcare professional has specifically said they're suitable - they'll be able to advise on the most approproate dosing and long-term approach.
