For best results, take Protect and Clear at different times of the day.

We recommend: 

- mixing 1 Clear sachet in 500ml of your favourite drink every morning
- taking 1 daily Protect capsule in the evening with food and a glass of water

If you experience a UTI flare-up, you can take up to 3 Clear sachets daily for a maximum of 3-5 days.

Although Clear contains sodium bicarbonate instead of potassium or sodium citrate, we still recommend short-term use at a higher dose.

Most women find this dose provides the relief they need to return to their usual routine.

If your symptoms don't improve or worsen within 48 hours, or if you experience side effects including fever, back pain or feeling generally unwell, please contact your GP or other healthcare professional promptly to rule out a more serious infection that may require antibiotics.

Utee is a natural, non-antibiotic solution and is not a replacement for medical treatment. It may help to reduce reliance on antibiotics by helping people prevent or significantly lower their risk of getting UTIs.

D-Mannose (the main ingredient in Utee Clear) is a type of sugar, but it behaves differently to glucose and so doesn’t tend to cause a spike in blood sugar.

That said, everyone’s diabetes is different, so we always recommend checking with a GP, pharmacist or diabetes nurse before taking Utee Clear. To be extra safe, if a healthcare professional is happy for you to take Utee Clear, you may wish to monitor your blood sugar initially to ensure it isn’t impacting blood sugar levels.

Ingredients in Protect and Clear are 100% natural, however we always recommend speaking with your doctor or other healthcare professional before taking Utee. Those with kidney disease should avoid prolonged high-dose use of Utee Clear unless advised by a clinician.

It’s generally safe to take Utee alongside other probiotics or supplements, but we would suggest speaking to a healthcare professional first to make sure there aren’t any reasons why you cannot take both simultaneously.
