Lucy's Insomnia Journey

Lucy's Insomnia Journey

In the first of our customer success stories, we talk to long-term sleep sufferer Lucy Johnson.

Lucy messaged us after a few weeks of taking Sleepee telling us “This product has literally changed my life”.

So, we spoke to Lucy to gather more info on her sleep journey. Here’s her story below. Can you relate to any of this?

Lucy's story

“My issue over the past year or so has been sleep onset, which I think is caused by hormonal sensitivities but was worsened by an intense period at work of 24/7 activity. Rather than the issue being confined to the hormonal, my response was worsened by work. I started looking into remedies quite quickly: trying Calms, Nytol, Melatonin before starting CBTi and eventually being prescribed a small dose of Zopiclone. I discovered Sleepee/Extracted after suffering for a few months, and noticed some really positive effects after about 4 weeks: much calmer in my pre-sleep phase and getting less attached to certain thoughts. I feel that Sleepee makes thoughts less intense and thus you’re more able to float past them into sleep.

With Sleepee, I have been able to feel confident without the use of Zopiclone, and have moved into a place of natural sleep. The only relapse I have had with sleep onset issues since starting Sleepee has been when I have resisted the natural relaxation Sleepee promotes. Combining mindfulness as well as The Sleep School’s Acceptance Therapy with a nightly dose of Sleepee has made me a much calmer, more mindful person pre-sleep, and returned me to my former self! I can’t rate this product highly enough. I would also like to mention how amazing the online support has been as when I had the relapse a few months ago, I received such a quick, helpful response that really made me feel supported at a difficult time.” - Lucy Johnson, Extracted customer since March 2024.
